How to Create a Shipping Plan Using a Box Manifest

What is a Box Manifest?

A box manifest is a detailed list of how your products are packed within a shipping plan, broken down by each box. It includes:

  • The SKUs you're sending to the warehouse.
  • The box number each SKU is packed in.
  • The quantity of each SKU per box.

In the example below, the customer is sending 4 boxes (Box #1–4).

Box 1 contains Iron-Man (20 units), Hulk (50 units), and Captain-America (25 units).

Box 2 contains Iron-Man (30 units) and Captain-America (25 units).

Box 3 contains Captain-America (25 units).

Box 4 contains Captain-America (25 units).

Parcel Shipping Plan Labels

Parcel Shipping Plan labels are configured automatically based on your shipping plan's packing setup. Each label adds the total quantity of items in the box and marks it as Parcel Mixed in multi-box configurations, streamlining the receiving process at the warehouse.

Each label also prints two barcodes so you can place them on opposite faces of the box, improving scanning efficiency when boxes are stacked.

Download Parcel Shipping Plan Labels

You can download the labels once you finish creating the shipping plan or box manifest.

  1. Open the shipping plan you just created.
  2. If the status still shows "Processing," wait until it changes—the labels are still generating.
  3. Click the Print icon next to the "Shipping plan details" title on the right of the screen.
  4. Place the corresponding packing slip inside each box.
  5. Place shipping labels and barcodes on the outside of each box, in a visible spot.
  • A single Parcel Shipping Plan supports a maximum of 200 boxes. If you need to send more than 200 boxes to the warehouse, split them into multiple Shipping Plans.
  • If you're sending pallets, print the pallet tags before sending them to the warehouse.
