How to Map Shipping Methods

The Portal lets you manage your store's shipping options and pair them with the shipping methods your 3PL offers. This keeps orders processing and shipping on time, and helps you set clear expectations for your customers.

Whenever you add a new shipping rate or method to your store, you must map it in the Portal. If a method isn't mapped and an order is imported using it, the system applies your default account setting. For new accounts, the default is Standard (3–5 day shipping).

This article covers how to map a shipping method in the Portal.

How to Map Shipping Methods

Before mapping a shipping method, it must already exist in your store platform and have been used on an order imported into the system. If you've already done both, skip to step 3.

  1. Create the shipping rates in your store.
  2. Place a test order using the new shipping rate. Once it imports into the Portal, you can map the method.
  3. Go to Settings > Shipping to see your imported Shipping Methods.
  4. Click the Carrier dropdown next to the Shop Shipping Method you're editing and select the option you need.
  5. Click the Carrier Method dropdown and select the matching carrier method.
  6. Click Save.
