Amazon retired its Marketplace Web Service (MWS) API — the connection ShipHero used to sync with Seller Central — on March 31, 2024. To keep your Amazon store connected, you must migrate to the Selling Partner API (SP-API).
How to migrate
- Log in to sfapp.shiphero.com and click Stores in the navigation menu.
- Click Enable new API for your Amazon store. You'll be redirected to Seller Central.
- Authorize the new ShipHero Fulfillment App.
- Once all your stores are migrated, the migration notification at the top of the page disappears.
If you don't see the migrate option, the migration hasn't rolled out to your account yet. You'll be prompted to migrate once it has.
Should I reconnect during off-hours?
Migrate at your earliest convenience — no need to wait for off-hours. Enabling the new API doesn't switch your connection immediately. ShipHero moves accounts to the new API in controlled, monitored groups.
