Understanding First Scans

The first movement in a tracking link is the creation of the label. This means that a shipping label has been generated. This happens at the packing station and indicates that the order has been processed and will be placed in a shipping container for later pickup by the carrier.

How Can I Check if My Package Has No First Scan?

  1. Log into the portal.
  2. Click on Reports > Shipments.
  3. Search for the order in the search bar.
  4. Scroll to the right on the table, until you see the tracking number and the shipping carrier columns. Click on Tracking Link under Shipping Carrier.
  5. The tracking link will take you to the carrier's tracking page. This page will provide the most up-to-date information regarding your order.
  6. If there is no information on the carrier's tracking page, or there is a message that indicates the package was never received by the carrier, there is a chance that the package has no first scan.

Tracking Movements on Carrier Sites

Every order includes a tracking URL and tracking number once it ships. To track the progress of a shipment, check the package's movements on the tracking page for the specific carrier.
